• Direct supervision of 50 employees involved in operations pertaining to governmental security assignments including national inspection/investigation of incidents or events.• Independently planned, conducted self-initiated comprehensive inspections investigations of airports, air carriers, flight schools, certified flight instructors (CFI), general aviation (GA) airports, cargo air carriers, indirect air carriers (IAC) to determine security compliance. • Monitored compliance with applicable civil aviation security policies, regulations, agreements to identify potential problem areas or deviations from prescribed standards.• Used investigative techniques to ensure the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of TSA approved security programs.• Conducted tests of physical, automated security systems for compliance.• Provided recommendations prepared written analyses of investigations, inspections assessments, to determine adequacy of enforcement or corrective actions to improve security posture or to restore compliance. • Engaged in identifying, collecting, preserving evidence for enforcement actions in support of the administrative law process. Also, responsible for reviewing analyzing assessment reports, testing results while identifying unusual trends for security weaknesses.• Collected, recorded, analyzed data information to support national security programs. • Developed plans to support domestic security goals, objectives, while involving all entities (city, county, state, and federal law enforcement) of law enforcement.• Studied legislation rules concerning security issues to plan conduct self-initiated investigations of individuals, regulated entities suspected of offenses/violations of federal security laws regulations. • Managed multiple varying analytical administrative duties to develop strategic tactical plans for transportation security. • Provided detailed briefings to staff, senior leadership represented DHS at industry meetings.
