Provide Strategic Communications/Information Environment (SC/IE) support to the Global Mission Support Center (GMSC). Represented Marine equities in staff planning efforts along all functions as it may relate to Marine Forces in the Middle East. This included coordination with other federal/civilian organizations including USAID, FBI, and US State Department. Provide key guidance, advice and subject matter expertise to the CENTCOM senior leaderships and Staff, Joint Service Liaisons to include USSOCOM, Coalition partners and interagency representation on all matters pertaining to Marine Corps organization, force management, capabilities, and employment.Researched, analyzed, interpreted, evaluated, and integrated extremely complex all-source intelligence data pertaining to order of battle, force structure, strategic and conventional military capabilities and key military leadership. Contributed to complex analytical approaches to problems and situations for which data is incomplete, controversial, or which no precedent exists.Assessed capabilities of doctrine and strategy production, joint forces operations, information operations, force structure, manpower; joint exercises, readiness training; and intentions. Advised and briefed senior leadership regarding critical military capabilities issues.

• Together with a team, monitor one year, five year and 30 year budgets in regards to capital improvement program. Detailed annual schedule of approximately 150 projects worth approx. $300M, tracking design, bidding appropriation process.• Direct activities, budget, equipment and staff of 5 personnel with Engineering Central Files and Graphics departments. Provide input and recommendations for future document management system.

• Served as Reserve MARFORPAC G2. Participated as a key member of staff at MARFORPAC. Provided reports and briefings for Senior Leaders. Participated as monitor of 2 joint exercises in South Korea. Assembled detailed after-action reports noting lessons learned and recommendations for processes including communication and workflow.• Served as Company Commander and then Executive Officer of Intelligence Support Battalion. Responsible for accountability, training and readiness of 550 Marines for various deployments. Designed and implemented tracking system for training and readiness standards to ensure seamless mobilization of various detachments of personnel for overseas deployment in support of GWOT.

Afghanistan

April 2007–April 2008 United States Marine Corps Afghanistan Active Duty Intelligence Officer, rank of Lt Colonel. Within the CJTF J5, coordinated planning efforts with military and civilian organizations including USAID, US State Department as well as multiple international organizations to advance both security and development projects in support of long term stability in the region. Agricultural development included identifying alternative crops in counter narcotics line of operation. Prepare senior-level leadership presentations, briefings, special assessments, and executive summaries for review. Extensive preparation for multiple Key Leader Engagement (KLE).Support all-source intelligence analysis that provide strategic and tactical operational support and lead development to inter-agency partners and partner nations. Focus is on countering financial support to terrorist activities, including narcotic and criminal activities.

Coordinated intelligence activities and analysis with Marine related operations in Middle East and East Africa. Djibouti, Africa from Mar thru Oct 2005 as Collections/Targeting Manager for Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa. Duties include focusing organic, theater and national assets to answer requests for information and intelligence gaps. Served on Information Operations working group. Utilized various computer programs including Palantir and M3.2004. Deployed near Fallujah, Iraq. As Battalion intelligence Officer, fused full spectrum of all source intelligence operations with emphasis on Imagery and Human Intelligence for analysis and targeting. Responsible for all Intelligence activities for 1000 man Infantry Unit to include products and updated information. Conducted daily presentations and analysis utilizing power point.
