AWT's outside CPA firm had recommended agreeing to those assessments before I was employed by AWT.

Performed sales tax research and was responsible for sales tax audits. Reviewed state income tax returns and developed numerous planning ideas and return filing strategies.• Determined that an AWT subsidiary had improperly included "estimated recoveries" from a bonding company in taxable income when the bonding company disputed the subsidiary's claim. This finding increased federal income tax refund by more than $1 million.
