My forte is working across disciplines to identify/ implement operational enhancements and forging productive cross-functional relationships to gain buy-in for strategic initiatives.Advancing with UPS through recent developmental leadership roles spanning new technology deployment, operational performance revitalization, and logistics optimization/cost control, I currently oversee carrier management, customer relationships and service for a network that consists of 90K loads/year, 40+ customers and 300+ lanes. Previously, I led planning, procurement, and control for $430M in annual purchased transportation spend, business transformation initiatives for a $250M transportation operation, including implementing a web-based transportation management platform, building up an understaffed department, and improving service level and team engagement.Initially joining UPS as a Load Planner, I quickly progressed through supervisory roles of increasing scope and impact to lead a team in the development, optimization, and analysis of performance metrics and operational effectiveness for the company’s global corporate transportation services operation with as much as $10B in annual spend. I partnered with executive stakeholders and IT to propel reporting quality and efficiency while controlling costs. I hold an MBA in Global Management and a BA in Supply Chain Management.
