Brisbane Angels provides the vehicle to allow independent investors to collaborate, co-invest, share risk, increase portfolio diversification, networking and peer validation of early stage deals and increasing both quantity and quality of deal flow.

Upon selling my majority shareholding in Inner Sanctum Media I undertook further education in fields of interest including entrepreneurship, digital marketing and finance. I also provided actionable, strategic advice to companies across a variety of industries including sport, retail, e-commerce, freight and property in relation to business planning, brand.

• Recruited to realise ISM’s potential. Together with the non executive Chairman, designed then executed the 3 year strategic plan which led to:
• Existing customer relationships (e.g. ARU, FFA) extended and deepened
• Securing new customers from a diverse and regular group of Australian and international clients including Australian and International sporting federations, global brands, Government bodies and marketing agencies.
• The launch of new business divisions that complemented ISM’s core competencies
• ISM being awarded Tourism Queensland’s exclusive supplier for the “Best Job in the World” and more recently, the “Million Dollar Memo” campaignHaving transitioned the business to ensure its ongoing success, I exited as.

• Launched Performance’s Australasia business in Sydney, a specialist strategic consulting division within global media agency, MindShare. Achievements included:
• Starting from a zero base, grew the Performance business to be one of the most profitable businesses in Asia Pacific
• Provided strategic sponsorship and content advise to brands such as Kellogg’s, Diageo, Motorola, LG Electronics.
• Provided strategic sponsorship advise to rights holders such as Buena Vista International (Disney) and Austrade on the establishment of a sponsorship policy, rights evaluation and subsequent path to market

• Managing the day to day activities of IQ’s talent including the development of athlete brand plans, negotiating playing contracts, securing sponsorship sales on behalf of athletes and rights holders, media relations.
• Managing John Eales 5 – IQ’s corporate hospitality and events division. Oversaw the company’s implementation of its RWC2003 Hospitality program
• Account manager for IQ’s Commercial Sales appointment with the Football Federation Australia
• IQ’s transition from being privately owned to being part owned by STW Communications Group
