Contractor Position for Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) TSO Columbus as a Senior Information Engineer responsible for supporting and customizing Finance and Accounting systems software, specifically the Departmental Cash Management System (DCMS). Served as the primary contact liaison between CSC and the DFAS TSO System Management. Responsible for assigning and overseeing work assignments of other contract staff and monitoring contractor performance and ensuring optima performance on projects and system change requests. Duties and experience include providing advice and counsel to functional analysts and members of the accounting requirements groups on the capabilities of the DCMS Finance and Accounting system. Presented recommendations and technical solutions to improve system functionality and enhance system performance in clear and concise presentations and write ups easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.Responsible for investigating and evaluating tools and methods for improving Finance and Accounting systems software quality and productivity through the life cycle. Served as technical project lead; provided leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Conducted quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.Provided consulting services in a technical and/or managerial capacity to management and technical staff. Completed the Application STIG review process of the DCMS Finance and Accounting system and assisted Information Assurance Management (IAM) personnel with the completion of the DCMS system DIACAP review process to obtain the DCMS System’s Authority to Operate(ATO). Experienced in testing and validation of IT controls for the DCMS Mainframe system in accordance to the IT controls detailed in the Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM).

• Member HR Technology Core Systems Support team. Performed Peoplesoft development and production support activities in a UNIX and ORACLE database environment. Prior experience includes Peoplesoft releases 7.5, 8.0, 8.4 & 8.9 and associated upgrade projects. Developed large number of customized SQR reports/interfaces. Customization experience using Peoplesoft App Designer and PeopleCode. Experienced with CA AutoSys Workload Automation tool creating and modifying workflows for the Peoplesoft application. Extensive experience with Mercury Quality Center, and Mercury IT Governance Center/Kintana.• Provided development and production support duties for legacy CICS COBOL based Online Time and Attendance system. • Coordinated systems enhancements to the OMNI Medical system used by Disability Management Services and Corporate Medical Services. Collected requirement specifications from LOB. Managed development and production support efforts of contracted development staff.

Coded and developed for TRIUMPH project building a new custom built COBOL, CICS, DB2 credit card processing system for the firm.

• Member of the Deposits Team performing development and production support work on bank’s Deposits Systems(DDA, Saving, CD’s). Modified systems and developed highly customized code to support business initiatives.
