He was one of the protagonists in importing US-style shareholder communications into the French market as Head of Sales at SG’s GSSI from 2001-2005. In 1 ½ years he completely revamped the business, increasing sales by 4.5x, managing more than 150 deals, solidifying its place in the UK market and making concrete in-roads into several European markets. David then developed Salisbury's proxy activity and worked with several multinationals as well as smaller-cap companies and innovative dissident shareholder campaigns such as ECS/Vodafone in '07. David has begun to develop Orient Capital's shareholder communication services in deal situations. He is recognized as a pioneer in harnessing corporate governance as a lever to accomplish concrete financial goals.
