Born in El Paso, Texas, raised in Pasadena/Duarte (Southern California) and living in San Francisco the past 25 years have given me a wide range of adventures and opportunities. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with my BA in Sociology. Later in 2020 I earned an MFA in Acting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.I have been fortunate to have several great careers. For 22 years I was a Paralegal working in conservatorship, probate, and trust administration law. I was fortunate to work in three counties: Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Mateo. I have had many great opportunities within my employers that range from sole practitioners and medium to large law firms learning all facets of a law practice, managing and training attorneys and paralegals alike. As a leader in the Paralegal community, I was a member of the San Francisco Paralegal Association and held various positions, including but not limited to: Editor, Direct Vice President, and President.In February 2012, my passion for acting guided me to new adventures. I obtained my Life and Health Insurance License and went into business. I am the President/Owner of Solutions That Benefit, Inc. specializing in small group and individual health and ancillary employee benefits. At the same time, I started working at CFO Rick Inc. where we offer all the services that a typical in-house accounting department provides. As a Staff Accountant Supervisor, I manage, with my team, our clients’ accounting needs, payroll, benefits, and accounts receivable and payable.I love volunteering and being a part of the solution. For most of my adult life I have volunteered and served on various boards and participated in helping to raise funds for great charities throughout California. Currently, I serve as an Executive Director at the Grand Ducal Council of Grand Dukes and Grand Duchess of San Francisco, a 501c3 organization that raises funds to distribute to local underfunded charitable organization. I manage our scholarship committee.My passion of acting has flourished, having the opportunity to take on roles for the stage in the Bay Area, films, and television. This led me to writing short and feature films. It’s new, so we shall see where these leads to as I sold my first script earlier this year.
