After a smashing year one, year number 2 is well-positioned to exceed those outcomes for all stakeholders! We have many innovative options for both educators and partner schools.Scoot’s Australian based parent company, anzuk Education, created a staffing model in 2005 that supplemented the United Kingdom’s school system with much needed relief to the teacher shortage. “anzuk” is an acronym for Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The logistics involved with moving Teachers within the commonwealth countries, in order to service the United Kingdom, were immense. But anzuk Education was up to the challenge!Scoot Education was created over 5 years ago, when we opened our first office in Los Angeles. Besides Arizona, Scoot currently has additional operations in San Francisco, San Diego, Texas, Nevada, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey and Utah! We like to refer to ourselves as Human-Enabled and Technology-Driven. Everything we do revolves around the student, and supports the educators that make everything we do possible. Senior Recruiter - Special Education Professionals For Legacy Traditional Schools

Arizona And Nevada

Legacy's campuses are staffed by Vertex Education, the Charter Management Organization for Legacy. I provided exclusive support for the Exceptional Student Services group, recruiting all Special Education Teachers, Speech-Language Pathologists and Psychologists for the 21 system-wide campus locations. To ensure continuity, I also handled all staffing/contracting agency relationships. The enormity of this endeavor was a never-ending motivational source. Key Contributions:➢ Consolidated contractor and employee sourcing to 1 point of contact. Internal recruiting and contractor recruiting were operating in silos prior to this change.➢ Direct recruiting efforts reduced the use of special education Teacher contractors by over 75% during my time in the role.➢ Rallied support of increase in compensation for the Related Service roles of School Psychologists and Speech-Language Pathologists. The shift upward in compensation was to the benefit of individuals with 5+ years of service in their field. The average time of tenure increased by 7 years after full introduction. This reduced attrition rates, and increased the level of experience in Related Services simultaneously.
