Executive Interim Management & Advisory - Finance, Restructuring, M&A

- Part of the leadership team (OPCO) of the Business Unit Corrugated Packaging (turnover: c.EUR3bn in 2022)- Responsibility for strategic roadmap and investment projects- Successfully completed acquisition of European paper mill as part of the negotiation team; overall responsibility for business case from kick-off to approval by Mondi Board (investment amount approx. EUR200m)

- M&A: Succesfully completed several acquisitions for Mondi in Europe, Asia and Africa as overall project leader covering all aspects (i.e. from first point of contact to business planning, financial modelling & valuation, due diligence, transaction structuring, post-merger integration)- Group-wide and cross-functional project lead and stakeholder management of large internal and external teams (+50 people)- Preparation of detailed analysis and corresponding recommendations to senior leadership on a wide range of financial and strategic topics- Leading the strategy development for one of Mondi‘s Business Units- Negotiation of legal agreements for acquisitions and joint ventures with owners/top management of respective targets- 1st point of contact and project lead for external advisors (e.g. top-tier strategy consultants, Big4, law firms)

- Project manager and team leader for Corporate Finance projects (e.g. project orchestration & execution, staffing, mid-year and annual review, technical supervision, coaching of team members)- Successfully completed several corporate finance and M&A projects across different sectors and geographies providing financial, tactical and strategic advise to clients- Analysis of financial data and preparation of complex financial models (e.g. business planning, forecasting, valuation)- Stakeholder management (ongoing communication and balancing of interests between clients, shareholders, management, due diligence teams, financing banks and investors)- Preparation of transaction-related documentation as decision basis for board and management of the client (i.e. illustration of possible transaction structures, key deal parameters)- Support during management/investor presentations and SPA negotiations
