During my tenure at Trello, I have helped implement emoji reactions in Trello card comments, a full notifications redesign and rewrite in React, wrote server side enterprise apis, and was part of a small team that managed releasing new code to our production environment. I'm currently working on the core front end, moving our platform to newer technologies like GraphQL and TypeScript, by automating our dependency management systems.

I started at this startup as their first engineering hire. Together with the founder, we built a cloud based video rendering system, and eventually brought it in house to cut costs. I focused on improving the overall rendering speed of the platform, created cloud monitoring dashboards, and eventually normalized the pipeline so that user given media wouldn't break/stall rendering.

I started at this startup as the first employee and my role was initially to convert a large amount of our imaging library from VB6 code to C#. With my background in graphic and web design, I started getting curious if it was possible to edit and view images through a browser thin client rather than using plugins. After a couple POCs, we decided that it could be a product, and I developed that product line into 2016, through several acquisitions.

I originally started at this company as part GameCom/Ferris, managing/installing/repairing amusement park VR equipment, and later the amusement park part of the business was separated from the VR part. I continued to work for both entities when one was off season. In the off season, I built VR machines for amusement parks, and for police training.
