What started as a job, became a profession, which lead to my passion for over 3 decades. Regardless of what type of field, factory, nature of business or environment I've worked in, my goal has always been to engage and motivate people to work and be safe because its the "Right thing to Do". In designing and implementing Safety Cultures and Comprehensive Management Systems unique to the individual idiosyncrasies of each workplace, I've first and foremost worked on integrating safety as a seamless service and to have people embrace and engage safety and security, not be afraid of it. Safety begins with Leadership, and Leadership in Safety has to rely on Trust, Honesty and an embrace of Empathy. Organizations that embrace Safety and Leaders that exemplify Safety do so by making those around them better, and by mentoring and educating. I follow the servant model of Leadership at all times, choosing to Lead from the front and clear the path for those that follow.
