David began his tenure with the USO of Missouri Board of Directors in 2009, serving as Treasurer for several terms and eventually moving on to serve the Board as 2nd Vice President. In 2020, Mr. Malone named the USO of Missouri the beneficiary recipient of the national “Do Good Award” which he was awarded by one of his vendors, National Life Group of Vermont. David continued to serve as an integral member of the Missouri Board up to and beyond its eventual merger with USO, Inc.. Some of David’s previous experiences include serving as the Board of Director’s Finance Chair of both Christian Hospital BJC and it’s Foundation in St. Louis, MO. David also continues to serve as an Advisory Board member of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery, a well-established not-for-profit organization committed to preventing child abuse and neglect in the St. Louis, MO region, providing a short-term, safe haven for almost 4,000 children a year, birth through age 12.
