Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization.My experience converting our internal software gave me a very broad view of how things operate in the organization. I had to learn various jobs in order to actively convert them and make them easier to complete in the new web application. This process allowed me to learn from many different people in the organization and gave me a better perspective that I utilize as the General Manager.Projects as General Manager:• Restructuring and rebuilding the maintenance division. This started with a complete restart of how we do business day-to-day, hiring new employees, and creating new processes. We went from a division that was losing money year after year, with several bad years of service related failures of equipment. The maintenance staff took the changes and ran with them, and now the division is profitable and has maintained far fewer failures than previous years.•Restructuring Operations Department•Restructuring Sales Department

Worked initially as Technical Assistant to the President of Holiday, then grew into IT Manager role. During this time I completed several large technical projects to advance the organization:1) Converted the custom developed internal software from DataFlex programming language to a Web Application. The project controls all functions of the business including sales, dispatch, maintenance & accounting. • The project utilizes numerous technologies, such as: Apache, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, PrototypeJS, jQuery• Interfaces with Credit Card Platform for direct charging within the application• Interfaces with various Web Services for address verification, emailing, mapping, directions, mileage, etc.2) Automated the buildings HVAC systems with custom built thermostats, utilizing ControlByWeb technology and custom backend scripting. The HVAC systems now only run when employees are in the building based on time cards. The company realized at 15% decrease in utilities after installing these systems.3) Upgraded data cabling - Cat5 and serial cables were run throughout the building. I removed all existing data cabling and pulled two Cat6 cables to every drop location, organized and terminated all cabling. In the end, I pulled approximately 15,000 linear feet of data cabling and terminated roughly 200 patch panel and end points.4) Installed facility-wide Security Cameras and Access Control Systems. Utilizing various network technologies installed 70+ Security Cameras and 20+ access control modules around the 3 building campus. This included pulling and terminated an additional 5,000 feet of data cabling.My focus during this time was making it easier for the other employees to get their job done via various technical and procedural methods.
