As a Building Decarbonization Project Fellow at SEI, a global non-profit research organization, I work with Earth Advantage, a non-profit that helps create better buildings and communities. I support their Home Energy Score and Building Performance Standards Teams in outreach, policy writing, and research, using data to inform and improve their practices and impacts.I have a BS in Environmental Science with honors from UC Santa Cruz, where I gained knowledge and skills in carbon reduction and sequestration strategies, negative emissions technologies, and data analysis. I also hold multiple certifications in equity, inclusion, and Salesforce. Previously, I was a Climate Corps AmeriCorps Fellow at the City of San José, where I assisted their Building Performance Ordinance Team in implementing their Beyond Benchmarking and annual benchmarking programs. I am passionate about reducing greenhouse gas emissions from buildings and promoting clean energy solutions for sustainable development.
