From going into my role as an apprentice in Social Media and Digital Marketing. I feel like I completely excelled the expectations of my role. From starting strictly working on generating conversions and gaining leads through social media campaigns I found myself building websites, designing graphics, maintaining projects individually, constantly creating content (whether it was written content or imagery/video), designing adverts and also analysing and working on ad campaigns to gain credible leads for the advisers. I would then use all the above to create a marketing strategy which me and my team would follow and report to the MD for feedback weekly.

I went into this job at 16 whilst I was studying at Nelson & Colne College. My role as a lifeguard/catering assistant for Pendle Leisure Trust gave me the confidence to use my skill sets in any given environment. My role included; monitoring the pool constantly to ensure the safety of all bathers, maintaining poolside standards, dealing with customers on a daily basis (both good and bad) and always handling situations professionally, handling money, lead generation for the Activo side of the business, cooking and preparing food. I'm also first aid qualified and qualified to lifeguard a swimming pool to the depth of 1.8m.
