As Social Media Executive, I worked within the Marketing department and reported directly to the Marketing Manager. Whilst primarily responsible for the management and maintenance of all Social Media channels, I was also responsible for producing marketing emails, liaising with various partners, producing any copy that was required for the company as well as any and all other tasks required by the Marketing Manager, such as blog creation and working with the entire Marketing team to launch the new company website.

As the sole marketer for Simple Digital Solutions, I had the responsibility for all marketing related activities undertaken by the organisation.My duties included managing the company's social media channels across all appropriate platforms, producing engaging, business relevant blog content for the company's website, liaising with Simple's partner organisations such as HP, and working to continually increase awareness of the organisation through focused campaigns.My role also involved working with the Sales team to make sure they had all the relevant product brochures, leads and information necessary. I also had the responsibility of organising Golf Days for clients and prospective clients at Gleneagles, managing all aspects of the day from invites and ensuring a charitable aspect to the day to the actual on-the-day management of the Golf Days

Working with the Paisley West Community Sport Hub to improve the sport on offer in the area and increase awareness of the work the Hub is doing.Conducted a Paisley West community wide consultation that involved the pupils, parents and teachers of 6 local primary schools, the pupils, parents and teachers of a local high school, the students at a local College learning centre, local library users, shop workers and also the wider community through an online survey. These results were then used to help shape the Hub's plan for the next year as it allowed us to learn what sports people in the community actually wanted to see and why the local community weren't playing as much sport as they should.As a result of the survey, I created and organised the Paisley West Community Sport Hub Come and Try Day that was held in the centre of Paisley for free. The purpose of this was as a response to the survey results informing us that many parents etc stating that cost and accessibility were major issues in getting their child involved in sport. Hosting free taster sessions on a Sunday in Paisley helped solve this problem with the day being promoted in every school in the area. This helped make the day successful with over 300 children coming down on the day to try their hand at some new sports. Following the success of the work done with the Paisley West Community Sport Hub, my post was extended to help conduct similar community consultations in the other 4 Sport Hub areas. These consultations involved around 10 high schools and 20 primary schools, taking in over 4000 survey responses.
