Dave Colaizzi is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at SignatureDx, a biotechnology company created with a vision of identifying biomarkers for early-stage disease detection so that treatment can help improve patient outcomes. Dave is responsible for Signature’s strategic direction – currently guiding Signature through new assay development, establishing partnerships with leading research organizations and scaling the science and analytical capabilities of the company. Dave has spent over 28 years in executive roles – co-founding Pittsburgh software development innovator fivestar* and spending most of that time at the helm as CEO until its recent acquisition. Dave was also instrumental in the acquisition, revitalization and subsequent sale of genetic testing pioneers Genelex and YouScript. His leadership style is built around building talented, versatile teams and enabling their success. In recent years, Dave has focused on channeling his expertise as a leader into advisory roles. Notably, working as Board Chair of Biohybrid Solutions and Board Member of Maitri Medicinals. Dave also contributes on the Board of fivestar*.
