Growing up on a farm close to Kerikeri, rural life is in the blood for David. Coupled with a strong passion for all things business he brings proven marketing acumen and an entrepreneur’s hustle and mindset to rural and lifestyle real estate. David could be found with gumboots on during university breaks at his family’s multi-generational Angus Stud, Matauri Angus. He provided his marketing skills to the operation through the studs successful market growth in New Zealand and with genetics internationally before spending 2020 back on the land with his sleeves rolled up. After completing his studies in Business and Marketing at the University of Otago, he then had a career in marketing and publishing before a super yacht stint took him abroad. Returning to New Zealand in 2010 David co-founded and built a successful high-end inbound travel agency where he honed his networking and business knowledge working with discerning clients from the USA, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Outside work David can be found golfing, spearfishing, hiking, playing cricket and all things outdoors. His passions extend to photography, writing, gardening and cooking. Proud achievements include completing the Great Wall of China Marathon, sailing across the Atlantic Ocean and hosting of the Augusta National Golf Club membership during their visit to New Zealand. Confidence, communication and integrity provide the foundations to David’s work ethic and he brings with him a strong client network through his sales and business experiences.
