A graduate of historically black university Alabama State University (BA in Political Science and Public Administration) and Loyola University Chicago with a MA in Urban Affairs with concentrations in public policy, community engagement, social enterprise, and social impact, I believe that the very heart of redevelopment and community change begins with the people. With various experiences from different levels of government over the last decade, I am consistently working to shift the narrative of minorities by resourcing, advocating, empowering, and engaging communities from all walks of life to build their community of tomorrow.
