Cure4CF Foundation is a charity established to raise funds for medical research for the development of a cure to Cystic Fibrosis airway disease, the most common inherited disease in the OECD.

I supported a healthcare group in Melbourne to develop their first medical centre. I oversaw the construction and fitout of the facility as well as established all business operations and recruitment of key management positions. I also reviewed the entire group operations with a particular focus on brand positioning.

The AUU provides essential non-academic services on campus. These services and events provide an exciting campus community and culture that is both meaningful and useful.In 2012 I completed a five year engagement as Chief Executive Officer of the AUU Group of Companies. This role involved being Managing Director and/or Director of a diverse portfolio of companies that provided commercial retail and fitness services as well as advocacy, welfare, membership and event management services. The AUU Group employed more than 140 staff and delivered annual turnover in excess of $25M.

Unibooks is the major university campus bookseller in South Australia with up to 100 employees (peak), 10 outlets, an online retail arm and turnover of more than $20M.David was a member of the Board task force which undertook a major review of the business model with a particular focus on the consumer trend towards online shopping.
