Recruited for 90% of the positions internally and externally for the credit union for most levels within the organization including selection, interviewing, testing and background checks prior to hiring. Performed the functions of the 401(k) plan administrator which included knowing and interpreting the plan documents, ensuring compliance with the plan, gathering the audit information, compiling census data for compliance testing, and evaluating loans for approval. Answered employee questions and helped employees work through problems encountered with benefits and policy. Implemented Kronos Timekeeper, an electronic time and attendance tracking system that enabled employees to log their time and track accrued time off. Created benefit statements for all employees once a year to communicate the value and cost of our benefit package including optional benefits and government mandated benefits. Worked with payroll to ensure clear communications between departments and made sure employees were paid correctly. Expanded supervisory role to managing within the HR field. Oversaw benefit administration, time-card and compensation policies. Implemented Kronos HRIS to coordinate HR data with timekeeper and deployed self-service functionality to deliver real-time data and entry to employees and managers. This merged the sources for 3 separate systems into one database. Responsible for overseeing administrative staff dealing with issues of mail room, reception, and facilities issues.
