David is an experienced technology CEO and serial entrepreneur. After a 10 year career in Oil & Gas with Schlumberger he founded the mobile communications software company, Eden Group; a successful exit gave a ten times return for investors. After a brief spell as entrepreneur-in-residence for a Silicon Valley VC firm, he became CEO of Neopost Online Inc. a $100M funded ecommerce start-up, providing online postage, package and shipping services, in 18 months, he grew revenues to $24m, the customer base to 17,000 and established shipping counters in 2,500 supermarkets across the USA. After a two year sabbatical sailing across the Atlantic with his family David resettled in the UK and joined wave energy device developer Orecon Ltd as CEO. At Orecon he closed a £12m A round funding with tier one VCs, successfully led the company to become one of the industry leading developers until the world banking crisis left the company unfunded. He was subsequently recruited as CEO of Aveillant Ltd to lead the spin-out from Cambridge Consultants.
