About David Crook

Born, bred, and educated in South Africa, I began my career in merchant banking as a currency trader, which opened doors to exciting opportunities in London. For 11 years, I worked on proprietary desks of major international banks, trading various securities across Africa. In a stroke of luck, I won a Green Card in the lottery and relocated to Atlanta, where I had family. This transition enabled me to move into the retail side of finance, a less familiar terrain, but one that allowed me to deepen my expertise and focus on the independent channel together with client-centric investment strategies.At a multi-billion-dollar RIA, I collaborated on numerous acquisitions with the CEO & Founder of Arkadios, David Millican. Our team focuses on supporting our Advisor Partners, helping them grow, scale, and achieve their full potential.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, watching English football, South African rugby, and expanding my knowledge as a tequila enthusiast.
