The objective was to establish a robust language and understanding of what great leadership looks like for all levels of JPL leaders. This led to the creation of the JPL Leadership Capabilities and Moments framework, which provides clear definitions and behavioral descriptions, reinforced by a wide range of immersive trainings, self-directed learning resources, experiential workshops, and offsite events. Notably, I designed and executed JPL's inaugural senior leader offsite program based on this initiative and was recognized with JPL’s top award for people leadership.Currently, I am co-leading the design and implementation of a complementary team effectiveness framework and team coaching for building and sustaining great teams at JPL. Similar to the leadership capabilities this new team-focused initiative will establish clear and compelling behaviors and descriptions, assessments, self-directed learning resources, and experiential workshops. Additional responsibilities include individual leadership coaching and mentoring, leader and team assessments, senior leader succession planning, workforce talent assessment and development, design and delivery of training classes and cohort programs, team building, offsite design and facilitation, project and change management, and internal HR communications support.
