In my first work experience, at the tender age of fifteen, I apprenticed for a year and a half under the leadership of my esteemed brother, Doniel Stanton, who owned and operated a chain of jewelry stores throughout the United Kingdom.Turning seventeen, I left the jewelry industry to study abroad in the holiest and most beautiful place on earth, Israel. Falling in love with the land wasn't the only thing that captured my heart. I met an amazing American girl, which leads me to the next chapter of my story — getting married and moving to America at the age of 20.Financially speaking, considering my wife and I came from modest backgrounds, and starting a new life in New York City was no easy feat, after our wedding ceremony I immediately had to seek out a prosperous opportunity. With a genuine passion for diamonds and jewelry, and a highly optimistic and ambitious mindset, Harry Winston and Cartier were the first places I approached, offering my skillset.To put it lightly, after a few weeks of hunting, the opportunities that were available were primarily commission-based, which at that moment in time would not suffice.
