Instrumental in achieving a net gain of over $8 million by negotiating a favourable settlement of a 6-year legal dispute with a major Australian public company resulting in a cash settlement and transfer of future environmental liability to the counterparty.⭕️Saved RGL over $1 million in third party due diligence costs by implementing an Environmental Warranty system so robust that the company’s financiers do not insist on typical environmental due diligence and ongoing review.⭕️Delivered a work out solution for a site remediation project in Brazil stemming an ongoing cost of c. $1m per annum with a potential 25-year time horizon.⭕️Saved $1.5 million by negotiating favourable operating licence terms at a Ministerial and Regulator level in NSW.This experience and achievements are pertinent to my current role as Principal of EHSR Pty.
