As General Manager - Marketing, Communications and Community at Commonwealth Games Australia David drove strategic priorities across brand, marketing, digital, media, communications, alumni and community projects. Prior to this role, David was director of Jump Media & Marketing for 21 years, working on a range of strategic marketing and/or communications projects including the 2019 Presidents Cup, 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, UCI Track and Road Cycling World Championships, Tour of Beijing, Australian Masters Games, Sport Australia Hall of Fame and Herald Sun/CityLink Run for the Kids.In addition, David is co-founder and director of Aussie Aths - a health and fitness program for kids based on athletics. As a long jumper David reached Olympic and World Championship finals and twice won Commonwealth Games silver medals.David was a member of the IAAF Television Commission for eight years after a similar term on the Press Commission and was a board member at the Victorian Olympic Council. He is currently co-chair of the the Australian Olympians Association, the Australian Olympic Commitee's alumni body for Australian Olympic athletes.
