Developed relationships across the State with large general contractors and contracting entities in the private and public sectors. Created professional business development and marketing strategies to gain highest exposure with decision makers in client organizations. Recruited professional management team and generated revenue of approximately $2.3 Million within a 14 month period, with up to 40 employees while successfully completing projects with no loss time. Represented company at various community-related events, trade shows and conferences statewide.

Directed daily operations for a 75-man Minority Business Enterprise. Management tasks included: Client relations, banking insurance matters, establishment of satellite offices, supervision of weekly payroll, accounts payable/receivable and hiring/firing of personnel. Maintained client database focused in Texas region; Represented firm at community and industry events and meetings; Dealt with senior personnel at firms/organizations such as Brown & Root, Southwestern Bell, Champagne-Webber, Morganti Group, Port of Houston Authority, etc.

As key member of management team, worked in acquisition of a 200-employee defense electronics manufacturing facility from Northrop-Grumman Corporation, coordinating nationwide business development effort. Targeted diversified industries including telecommunications, aerospace, defense technology, associated distribution and general contract manufacturing. Penetrated potential client purchasing, engineering and manufacturing organizations and scheduled daily meetings for multiple marketing teams at client sites nationwide. Interacted daily with major corporations such as Lockheed-Martin, McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, Northrop-Grumman, Bell Atlantic, AT&T, etc. Maintained client database for companies nationwide and M/DBE Liaison Officers.
