I was grounded as a commercially driven CFO and MD in the consumer (retail and travel), services and manufacturing sectors developing a proven track record improving company performance and increasing shareholder value in both growth and turn-around businesses.The journey so far - after 6 years in senior corporate finance and restructuring roles within the non-foods division of hillsdown holdings in the 1990s, I have focussed almost exclusively adding value to PE backed businesses gaining experience leading management teams, delivering profit improvement, securing exits for investors and lenders as well as executing commercial partnership and real estate opportunities. Investor groups I have worked with include 3i, Silverfleet, ECI, Kaupthing, Stephens Inc., RBSPE, Charterhouse Development Capital and Soros. In the public company environment I was CFO at Safestore plc and Prism Leisure and worked for Board of Whitehead Mann when they re-financed and migrated to AIM.Preferred sectors: : Consumer, leisure and travel, retail, business services, real estate and life sciences
