I'm a full stack web developer with over 15 years of experience with a focus on Microsoft technologies. I currently have an exciting position in the fitness industry developing cutting edge heart rate based applications with both Microsoft and Google firebase platforms.In the past I have successfully deployed applications where I designed and implemented databases to user interfaces and everything in between. I gained extensive experience with real-time single board computer applications with Linux and VxWorks in the defense, astronomy and mining industries.Currently the applications I am developing are using very well engineered applications that take advantage of the best open source solutions available as well as new cloud based computing and database platforms that have exceptional performance. The best part of where I'm at is the people I work with. Everyone is a stellar performer in health science, health coaching, marketing, account management, mobile and desktop client applications.I have a bachelor of science in computer engineering which introduced me to the software industry which I have work in for more than thirty years. I started developing real-time applications early in my career for robotics, data acquisition & signal processing, mining and telescope control. I since moved on to the web world where I have been designing and developing for the full web stack.I am interested in hearing from people doing similar work using Microsoft's open source technologies and those creating applications that are using the firebase platform and the challenges it presents moving from typical SQL based applications.
