Between my dueling left and right brains, I am a creative thinker with an aptitude for problem-solving. I respect the tried-and-true methods, but also welcome new and improved ways of accomplishing tasks, especially when it comes to writing code!For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed both the creative and analytical equally. I love podcasting, playing guitar, and creative writing. However, there's nothing more satisfying to me than a beautiful block of well-written, functional code.I have been involved in the technology industry for 5 years now. From my humble beginnings as a Content Manager for HCA, to my current role as a Software Developer, I am nothing but appreciative and honored for the experiences I have been granted to grow as both an individual and coder.Most recently, I was a full-stack software developer at Cushing Systems Inc, where I assisted with writing software known as Public Safety Information Management System, or PSIMS. The software is commonly used by police officers, EMS, 911 dispatch, and various other emergency responders.Although my title and job responsibilities consist of full-stack development, my areas of strength are .NET Core & C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript & jQuery, front-end compilers, and various JS libraries and frameworks. These include AngularJS, Angular 2+, ReactJS, and Browserify.
