In this role my primary duty is the administration of the Kronos Workforce Dimensions platform wherein I am responsible for the oversight and adjustment of that system so that it functions as expected and is in constant alignment with the needs and goals of the corporation. Included responsibilities are: the creation of custom reports and dataviews, data analysis, and creation/delivery of training programs for end users. In addition, I assist in the building of reports in the MyUnity EHR platform.

I served as the Nurse Informatics Educator and Information Technology Specialist sharing specialized knowledge, with information and communication technologies to promote the health and well-being of individuals in our care. I developed, implemented, and instructed training programs for the applications used by our staff. I supported network functionality through network administration and hardware maintenance. Additionally, I oversaw, operated and maintained the Electronic Healthcare Records systems so patients' confidential medical information can be securely populated, tracked and retrieved any time it is needed.My selected contributions include: ▶ Ensuring organization mission goals and technological processes support highest standards for improved quality, and provider and patient satisfaction by facilitating discussions between organization and medical staff ▶ Maintaining 120 current and 1300 discharged patient records while ensuring confidentiality of information maintained▶ Improving systems and processes affecting integration of multiple healthcare disciplines▶ Contributing strong technical knowledge to troubleshooting system issues. I served as a Quality Assurance Manager with responsibility for ensuring high quality care delivery to patients. I managed a 56 bed Assisted Living Unit and a 14 bed locked memory unit.My contributions included: ▶ Managing between 7-10 nurses, 4-6 medication aides, and about 20-25 nursing assistants▶ Ensuring patients received quality care and proper medication daily. Medications included: oral medications, eye drops, intermuscular injections, subcutaneous injections, topical creams and ointments, rectal medications, and sublingual medications▶ Reviewing studies of health care delivery systems and operations, including services provided in direct health care systems▶ Administering internal review, quality and productivity initiatives for organization▶ Training current and newly hired healthcare professionals▶ Implementing new electronic health record system with a team of 6 individuals

I served as a professor teaching courses to degree seeking undergraduate students in the health science track. I have taught more than 250 students taught to-date. I formerly served as the Health Information Management Program Manager providing students guidance to ensure program success. I worked closely with Academic leadership to identify healthcare initiatives to ensure students were receiving timely and relevant training.My contributions included: ▶ Teaching Introduction to Computers / MS Office, Patient Care Information Systems, Health Statistics and Research, Performance Measures in Healthcare, Professional Practice, and The Impact of Science and Technology▶ Developing focused curriculum using learning management system Moodle
