CurrentAs Vice President of Operations and Performance Management, David’s duties include independent oversight of performance results across all operating divisions of Larson Design Group (LDG). This includes the development and continuous assessment of performance metrics in the following areas: financial, quality, risk management, project management, project delivery, and client satisfaction. Prior to this assignment David served as Vice President of Transportation, where he successfully managed the Transportation Division including the following Departments: Highway/Traffic, Structural Design, Structural Inspection and Construction Inspection.PROJECT EXPERIENCEDuring his tenure at LDG, David has provided design expertise and project management for the following types of projects: Roadway Design Bridge Design Bridge Safety Inspection and Analysis Building Structural Design Hydrologic and Hydraulic Studies Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Permitting Transportation Safety Improvement Projects Recreational Trail FacilitiesROADWAY AND BRIDGE DESIGN(PennDOT) Engineering Districts 2-0, 3-0, 5-0, 8-0 and 9-0 - Agreement manager for several Open-End Engineering agreements in these Districts. Projects include small to medium bridge replacements, roadway reconstruction, preventative maintenance, highway safety improvements, project scoping, bridge rehabilitation, in-depth bridge inspection, and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis/permitting. PennDOT Engineering District 3-0 Project manager for the design and plan preparation of 5 bridge structures on S.R. 6015 in Tioga County. These bridges were part of a 12 mile, 2-lane addition of limited access highway. The structures included a 535 ft., 4 span prestressed concrete I-beam bridge over the Tioga River with pier heights to 60 ft.; 3 single-span structures with a maximum span of 142 ft.; and a 135 ft. box culvert extension.
