At a global supply chain company with 7,000 employees serving customers in 36 nations and island territories, my responsibilities include leadership of strategy and execution of all aspects of company external and internal communications, leading digital, multi-channel approaches to earned and owned content. I lead full-time employees and agencies to help drive revenue in a multi-billion dollar enterprise. Areas of leadership including reputation management, executive leadership content placement internally and externally and employee engagement. These responsibilities include news releases, press conferences, speeches and briefings, and digital storytelling through social media, blogs and website content; multimedia content including video, photography and other audio and video content. I lead crisis communications and corporate social responsibility communications. In 2020, my responsibilities increased to direct employee brand communications and internal communications at an enterprise level. I also achieved a director role from manager. My responsibilities have grown to include leadership of the creative team at Crowley, including visual brand and graphic design. I have served on the Crowley Cares corporate social responsibility program, our Ethics and Policy Review Committee, and on our Corporate Crisis Management Team, including incident response and COVID-19 response activities. I also serve as a mentor in Crowley's company mentoring program.

I managed communications, including media relations, policy management and crisis communications, social media, video and photo production and internal communications:*Served as on-the-record spokesman for Mayor Alvin Brown, and prepared and advised mayor and senior staff on media opportunities at local, state and national levels on all forms of media.*Created communications and media relations plans for a diversity of initiatives.*Wrote and edited news releases, monthly newsletters, speeches and white papers on diversity of topics for $1 billion enterprise.*Managed and edited marketing and public awareness materials, including 400,000-copy emergency preparedness guide and communications campaign annually with corporate partners.

I covered Pinellas County and the Florida Legislature, as well as elections. My work has included presidential elections, Florida legislative sessions and other parts of Tampa Bay and Florida. I also write about broader issues, including homelessness, and produce investigative reports.
