I am responsible for developing the Scottish region by bringing in and managing specificationsales. Working closely with End clients, Architects, Lighting designers, Interior designers and Electrical consultant engineers to achieve specification for the full XAL lighting portfolio including Wever & Ducre and Wastberg. Using a layered approach to each of my clients I promote the correct lighting solutions to the correct specifier. Introducing the Architects to high impact products that can make a statement in the design to help their vision work withing the space, then to the electrical engineer the products that will help them to achieve the project design brief while making sure they meet the regulations on performance and design aesthetics. Once I secure the specification I also negotiate with the appointed Electrical contractor to win the project and see it through to completion, assisting with technical help once on site with the contracting team that are installing the lighting.
