Manage salaried and hourly manufacturing engineering team that supports fabrication, assembly and test of refrigeration expansion and flow control valves and electronic controller assemblies. Supervise division facility support group that manages all facility and utility related projects for five area manufacturing facilities and the division headquarters/distribution center. Serve as site coach for the Parker High Performance Team program, mentoring employee groups working on improvement projects. Manage plant maintenance team in support of machining, brazing, assembly and testing.

Directed daily operations of precision machine shop, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly departments to manufacture, test, and ship in-line flexographic printing presses. Managed multiple manufacturing budgets and labor expenses to reduce costs and increase profitability. Interfaced daily with sales, engineering, purchasing, and aftermarket groups to ensure timely delivery of customer orders for new equipment and replacement parts.

Facility lead for strategic sourcing initiative to transfer production to two international facilities. Accountable for $3.5 million capital equipment budget and $6 million in departmental budgets.

Supported assembly operations by providing supplier development support and managing projects in Honeywell fabrication facility. Acted as a Lean Manufacturing consultant to several Tier 1 components suppliers within the US. Ran multiple lean development projects in support of Honeywell Operating System deployment in Phoenix Rotating Components business unit.

Directed 34 hourly associates in the repair of turbine engine impellers, knife seals, gear cases, frames, mounts, and turbine wheels. Responsible for Profit and Loss (P&L) make/buy decisions for repaired components. Provided guidance and assistance for engineering and production control support groups.

Directed 22 associates in special processing area. Responsible for vacuum heat treating, diffusion coatings, welding, thermal spray, and shot peen production. Provided 24-hour management coverage for 3-shift operation. Managed GEAE business units in both Chandler and Guaymas, Mexico facilities. Responsible for scheduling, raw material procurement and the manufacture of turbine engine airfoils accounting for $2.5 million in monthly sales. Developed layouts and managed construction for facility improvements to support plant closures and business transitions from Toronto and Boston facilities to Phoenix. Performed planning and engineering review for all non-conventional processing. Led preparation and audit teams for annual NADCAP audit of 6 separate processes.
