For many organisations, changing the ways of working in response to today’s turbulent and disruptive world is the norm. Successful change arises from requisite nimbleness in moving from Point A to the right incremental Point B, taking stock, moving forward again, and so on. Integrated organisational change management takes a holistic approach to best translating the strategic intent into a portfolio of initiatives addressing specific enterprise needs; iteratively developing and implementing optimum solutions to these needs; engaging with the people who will be impacted by, involved in, and/or can influence the resulting change; and realising the intended benefits from the portfolio. With successful change, these facets occur within a framework that manages the envelope of cost, time, quality, and scope - so that organisational value is built or at the very least sustained through the change.I work with organisations, recognising their individual needs, to build a tailored capacity for integrated change management. The question I seek to help answer is "How can we realise the right outcomes from the right change initiatives through structures and processes that are as efficient as possible?".The vehicle for building this integrated capacity, and its ongoing improvement, may be a next-generation PMO that takes a Lean and agile (small a!) perspective across the organisation's portfolio of change initiatives. Due to its holistic role, such a function can be called a Change Management Office. The Change Management Office, and the approaches it facilitates, draw as optimally required on the wide range of disciplines to be employed in successful organisational change.I welcome the opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest and potential roles.
