ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the production planning and inventory/material control for the production floor. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:-Developing operations procedures. For example, developed a more efficient procedure for assemblers to receive the necessary hardware -Developing, improving and maintaining written procedures and processes within the production control areas-Responsible for the inventory posting of completed sub-assemblies and finish goods and assigning tracking numbers-Providing material control reports for the production team-Developing a new process for logging tracking numbers for all semi-finished and finished goods-Providing the production floor with the required material to meet the current contract deadlines-Creating purchase orders and receiving material into inventory in an efficient and timely manner

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for packaging customer orders according to specific shipping requirements. Other duties include but are not limited to:• Picking customer orders and processing them through the required shipping system in a timely fashion• Receiving returned goods for upgrades/repairs• Setting up tracking information for each order• Preparing a daily shipping report for the Operations Manager• Helping the carriers load and unload the trucks with the incoming and out-going shipments
