I started as a digital marketer with over 4 years of experience. I am good at developing successful marketing campaigns on various social media channels, especially Facebook and Instagram. David Dext is a passionate web3 researcher and a technical writer in blockchain. I have worked as the community manager for Africa Blockchain Youth Ambassador (ABYA), a pan-African initiative created to promote literacy and adoption of blockchain, Web3, and in Africa. As the community manager for ABYA, I dedicated my time and efforts to educating and creating awareness on blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Web3 among university students in my country, Kenya. I have also worked as a marketing business developer for Socrates, a global Web3 social media platform based on the polygon. During my tenure at Socrates, I was able to onboard close to two thousand active members in the platform within a month. Leveraging my extensive background in digital marketing and community management, I have successfully transitioned into the role of a business analyst. In this capacity, I focus on translating business needs into effective strategies and solutions that deliver value to the stakeholders within the specific context.
