I am currently moving toward research and teaching in AI and Philosophy of Mind.I have always had a great interest in acquiring new knowledge in many different areas, mainly in engineering (IT), but also in the natural sciences, the social sciences and philosophy. I combine a broad curiosity with attention to detail. I love exploring the connections between technology, humans and other animals.My fields of expertise in Information Technology include Human-Computer Interaction (particularly speech-based systems), interaction design for mobile environments (e.g., on board vehicles), human factors and usability engineering, quantitative and qualitative research methods, speech analysis and processing, management of heterogeneous information (e.g., multimodal interaction and sensor networks) and mobile robotics.My experience includes co-organising and chairing conferences. I am also a competent translator and interpreter.
