As a technology marketing professional, I have guided organizations through complex strategic restructuring/repositioning, developed roadmaps and high level messaging; and, directed web strategies, print advertising, collateral, events, press and analyst relations, direct marketing and marketing analytics. As an industry analyst and consultant I have analyzed industries and technologies that were going through major transitions and brought unique strategic and tactical insights that helped clients navigate uncharted waters. For example, when Facebook first opened up registration to anyone outside of university, I was one of the early thought leaders recognizing how social media would significantly change how companies interacted with customers and employees. More recently, in late 2009, I saw the significant impact that Internet / over the top (OTT) video would have on the video distribution business - both for service providers who would see significant cord cutting and for set top box manufacturers who would see competition from consumer electronics manufacturer
