Expert in the field of user research and experience in both academia and industry. I started as an Interaction Designer at Nokia Home Communication, and in parallel started my PhD studies. I have been working for product companies, consultant companies and governmental research institutes in Sweden and in the UK. The work has been spread over several areas, such as web and interaction design (IT-tankar), usability of medical appliances (Doctoral thesis), interaction design for heavy industrial appliances (UserLane) and end-user experience (Santa Anna).Later on I worked as Head of Experience Research at Skype, a team that I created, responsible for original research around user experience and communication behavior and taking these research findings into concepts and ideas directing the future experience. At Svenska Spel I worked as Research Director focusing on innovation and ideation within the Corporate Strategy team. Work that also lead to incorporating the user experience as one of two pillars of the corporate strategy (together with a responsible gambling approach).At HiQ I started to establish a new strategic approach with our clients within the area of Business Design, where we used methodologies and insights from both the design world as well as business development.For a couple of years I lead inUse. inUse is a design agency in the business of making impact. Design with an impact is born in the interaction between design and human behaviour. This is our home court - and the key to increased profitability and long-term sustainability.Currently I am working to establish Variant Sverige. Variant is a new type of consultancy agency, something that is transparent and value driven. An agencey that is built by and for people.
