David Diperstein Email and Phone Number
I am a documentary and narrative director, producer, and editor based in New York City. I won a CINE Golden Eagle award for the roller derby documentary "Rink of Fire" and have worked on many films and television shows in production and post-production. In 2023, I survived brain surgery to remove a Cerebral Cavernous Malformation and am now embracing life as a visually impaired artist. I am working on a documentary about this not-so-rare condition and living with invisible disability. After my rehab, I jumped right back into production and launched the video podcast "How Does the Art World Work" and the arts docu-series "Percolate". My recent documentary "Birds? What Are They Good For?" has premiered around the world and is now available on VOD. MY first feature-length documentary "Get Me a Bag!" about the riots after the 2008 World Series is coming soon.I have produced and directed music videos and created many pieces of collateral for major global organizations. I am experienced in traveling and attending shoots in the U.S. and overseas, as well as managing timelines, teams, and budgets. My extensive experience in film and television production, along with my expertise in post-production, has allowed me to maintain composure in the high-pressure environments that often arise when developing exceptional content. I have demonstrated strong negotiation skills when dealing with executives and creative partners alike. As a video technician, I worked on productions for NBC, Apple TV, Netflix, Disney+, ABC, HBO, MTV, and many other studios. Musical talent on projects that I have worked on include Jay-Z, Anderson .Paak, Shawn Mendes, John Mayer, Kyle Gass, Jon Bon Jovi, Jennifer Lopez, Coldplay, Muse, Justin Timberlake, Aaron Carter, Schoolly D, Migos, Eddie Money, and many others.I also operate the content aggregator Streamacy.com, which recently launched a YouTube channel to help distribute insightful content.
