I am member of AIJA for more than 10 years, and filled in several positions ranging from National Reporter over Vice-President and President of several Commissions and since more than 2 years Co-Chair of the Forum of the Commissions. I have co-organized seminars all over the world, including Shanghai and Tel-Aviv. I took initiative to rebrand existing Commissions in the present T.R.A.D.E. The FoC has the overall responsibility for coordinating the activities of the Commissions and through them the substantive work of AIJA. It monitors the activities of the Commissions and actively takes part in the improvement and quality control of the scientific work produced within AIJA.

One of the youngest, this commission is rapidly developing into a privileged meeting place for the traditional AIJA members with their new(and/or former) colleagues, young corporate counsels and inhouse lawyers from all industries across the globe.The Commission studies topics of particular relevance to the profession of corporate counsels and inhouse lawyers, but also focuses on all aspects of the relationship between corporate counsels and lawyers from private practice.For this purpose, the Commission organises as well own events specifically aimed to attract corporate counsels and inhouse lawyers, but it also works very closely with all other Commissions, in order to leverage on the additional value created by the combination of in-house experience and practical insight, with the specific input and domain expertise provided by lawyers from private practice.
