About David B. H. Munro

I have always enjoyed helping others with their IT issues. In addition to more than 6 years of directly working as a support specialist (with 3 of those years being a shift manager), I have always ended up being the point of contact for any office that I have worked in for any technical issues that arose.I have just as much comfort assisting those who have little to no technical understanding, as those with a strong technical background. Additionally, I have experience providing technical support to executives in addition to those working in entry level positions.The experience I have to date has allowed me to be comfortable providing support with both Microsoft and Mac systems. I also have worked extensively with Active Directory (AD), and been exposed to a few different ticketing systems.With this background I have worked on adding to my skill base by moving into the direction of software engineering. I completed the full stack engineering course through the program Flatiron, where I studied development with an object oriented focus, learning Ruby with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and React. Since adding to my skill and more comprehensive understanding of CSS, SASS, TypeScript, and testing (e.g. Jest).
