Role Summary:1. The Executive Director, Service Delivery provides strategic leadership and direction and is responsible for the operational management and governance of the Service Delivery Directorate to ensure that it meets agreed performance and clinical standards in the delivery of quality ambulance services.2. As a member of the Ambulance Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Director, Service Delivery is instrumental in driving ongoing operational and work practice changes to enhance the way in which Ambulance services are delivered throughout the State.3. Responsible for over 3600 staff, working from 220+ locations across the state, with a recurrent expense budget in excess of $566 million (2017‐18).

Role Summary:1. Consistent with the delegated powers and directions of the Chief Officer, lead and manage the Business Units of the ACTAS engaged in direct delivery and support of emergency, non‐emergency and aeromedical ambulance services, on a day‐to‐day basis to meet corporate objectives and community expectations.2. As Deputy Chief Officer, exercise the statutory authorities and administrative accountabilities of the Chief Officer on those occasions when the Chief Officer is unavailable to do so, and assume any additional delegations, which may be defined from time to time by the Chief Officer.3. Develop, implement and review plans, policies and strategies to deliver and improve ambulance operational services in line with changing community needs and ensure optimum performance from human, financial and capital resources.
