Certified Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) resource and Team Leader. Performed hazard analysis for any change to reaction initiator production process. Served as incident investigation / RCFA area resource. Led site legacy drilling program. Certified Pressure Relief Design Reviewer and 2nd Party Auditor. Developed process for generating additional Starblast™ from tailings with initial production rate of 180 tons / day and adding $15M of new product to future sales. Increased Kelsey Jig zircon yield from 54% to 81% when processing low grade tails. Re-instituted recovery of Coarse Staurolite from tailings, adding $500K to yearly sales. Improved Coarse Staurolite yield from 52% to 80%, allowing DuPont to meet all customer orders. Received Engineering Excellence Award
