Management responsibilities included: oversight of various major project agreements such as the purchase and sale agreement (PSA), construction financing agreement, and the tax equity financing agreement as well as management of the parties to the PSA to ensure the construction of the project was delivered on schedule and budget through the development services agreement, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreement, and the turbine supply agreement. Responsible for providing monthly construction progress and financial updates to state regulators, responding to requests for information from regulators, and assisting the internal team in preparation for cost recovery through the rate filing process. Continuously working with the finance team to update project costs and variances for the purpose of compliance with project budget, projected cash flows and expected returns. Responsible for managing two separate EPC contractors: one contractor constructing the solar sites over 4 separate locations, and one contractor constructing the substation, transmission line and underground collection system. • Responsible for providing engineering services and technical coordination for various large scale wind and solar projects including a 10 MW solar project in Ontario, a 23 MW wind project in Saskatchewan, and a 150 MW wind project in Michigan. Engineering services provided include; review and management of technical documentation, procurement of engineering services and materials including obtaining budget estimates and defining quality control parameters, liaise with various stakeholders from field construction crews to operations staff members, planning and coordination with sub-contractors and equipment suppliers, ensuring appropriate supervision of contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers with respect to quality and safety, and soliciting stakeholder/team input on various engineering related issues that arise during all phases of the projects. • Project Manager during close of construction and commissioning phases for both a solar and wind project, responsible for leading/organizing regular meetings with members of the Asset Management and Operations groups to ensure a seamless transition of the projects from Business Development to each stakeholder. Also completed permit application for on-site operations and maintenance building. • Involved in the continuous review of construction contract documents including design drawings, specifications and bid documents pertaining to all construction activities. Contributed to the writing of various reports such as the remediation plan, the site summary reports and the overall project summary report.• Construction inspector for installation of a gas venting system at a former Toronto landfill, responsible for inspection and documentation of construction activities. • Completed assessments of sediment conditions of a lake to determine the potential to deepen and possibly realign the shoreline. Assessment included sediment sampling and review of laboratory chemical analysis to determine current conditions.• Completed assessments of a culvert construction for a tributary of a creek.
