I have created everything from simple XHTML websites to full custom CMS systems. I am on a constant quest for efficiency.All my web programming is done by hand and I work hard to keep my code clean, object oriented, maintainable, backward compatible, browser independent, and future proof. I love keeping up with new technologies and every project is exponentially better than the last. Graphic Design:I'm proficient with Adobe CS suite with a heavy emphasis on Photoshop creating web design mock ups and image manipulation. I've also done graphics design such as logos, page layouts (web and print), etc. using Illustrator and InDesign.Photography:I got into photography for fun and then quickly moved into commercial photography by request. I photograph of all types of subjects including Portraits, Products, Architecture, etc.

Built numerous prototypes and sales demonstrations to win business by demonstrating things such as animations, realtime syncing with Meteor and Server Sent Events and multiple demonstrations of responsive web.Built a realtime web application to plot and manipulate SVG points and paths for Glasses.com. All SVG drawings used server sent events for immediate rendering to correct glasses positioning on a face.Principal Engineer and team lead on Mutual Mobile's first full featured enterprise Windows 8 tablet application for Greenway Medical. This application was featured in the Windows 8 app store.Principal Engineer and team lead on a large scale multi-platform tablet webapp for Kelly Blue Book that was a huge ROI success for the client.Consulted and trained a major e-commerce company ProFlowers.com on how to approach and implement a fully responsive version of their product.Worked with a team to build a retail application for Nike Skate that used an iPAD to control custom designed web content on a TV and used technologies such as webGL.Became a main contributer to our internal framework Lavaca which allowed us to rapidly prototype and release applications on web, iOS and Android using Cordova.Principal Engineer and team lead to build version 1.4 and 2.0 for Select Comfort's SleepIQ application. I spent a large portion of the time building a cross platform library to communicate with SleepNumber hardware via Bluetooth LE.Principal Engineer and team lead on BioLab's Home Depot Pooltime and Clorox Pool and Spa. Both applications were released to web, iOS, and Android with a single codebase using Lavaca.Principal Engineer and team lead on Dribe. Dribe is a vehicle short and long term leasing app for iOS and Android built with React Native.

Co Founded SceneScout LLC to formalize the app idea I came up with in 2009 to create a tool to help photographers location scout. I currently lead the technology and development for the 2.0 version and continue to drive the vision forward.

Here I design and build custom database driven web applications for clients with specific needs using PHP, MySQL, and CodeIgniter. We design a normalized database to handle all the needs of the web application and build it into our custom CMS system Pomegranate. And finally, we add on a beautiful, fully integrated front end design.

Led the development team to rebuild the corporate website tocquigny.com. This was a challenging and exciting project. It was a project full of firsts for me such as HAML, SASS, Git, Expression Engine, jQueryMobile, HTML5 data, scratch built jQuery libraries and plugins, Google Analytics API integration, and searchable/crawlable AJAX driven architecture. And despite all the firsts, the project was a huge success (http://www.interactivemediaawards.com/winners/certificate.asp?param=82690&cat=1).Led the development team to build an iPad app using Titanium Appcelerator which allowed us to build cross platform native apps for iOS and Andriod using one coding language, Javascript. The app was a huge success with 1000 installs in the first 48 hours and it landed at position #1 of the New and Noteworthy section, Lifestyle category in the iTunes App Store.Worked as the second of two developers on a native universal iOS app for Tory Burch (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tory-daily/id531525679?mt=8). I used Objective C and Xcode to connect social sharing functionality, to store and sync user data with iCloud, and to layout and connect each of the different content templates for iPhone and iPad.

My job title is JAVA programmer, but I do much more. I am the administrator of our global document management system from OpenText. This is a web based documentation system that runs on Windows IIS and has an Oracle database server back end. It consists of many servers around the world working together to serve our documents. I led a major upgrade of our system to bring the abilities of UTF8 for better language support. During this process, I had to reverse engineer some corrupted data at the hex level and come up with a process to repair our entire database without data loss. I have also learned a lot about windows server environments and managing Oracle databases.Due to my graphics design ability, I have been asked to design many things including web interfaces, logos, and even trade show brochures.I have worked with legacy code such as VB and ASP while working on old applications written before my time.Developed several web applications including: - Scheduling and meeting planning application for trade shows - Application that holds all the information about servers, applications, database integrations, downtime scheduling, and who supports what for our Information Systems Management - Application to track machines, parts, and maintenance for our Field Service team - iPhone web app for maintaining windows services remotely via VPN - Award winning code generation package that wrote 84,000 lines of code for my latest project, which saved countless corporate hours.

I worked here as the technical director for an all mac office. I led the upgrade of all their machines from OS9 to OSX including their in house mac server that ran their email system and externally facing website. I designed and wrote Filemaker databases for managing contacts and also edited and maintained their website. I met each technical need including networking, backup, updates, and working through ISP issues.

This is where I really started to learn web development. I did a lot of PSD to XHTML conversions and small PHP projects such as email forms.
